Falls Prevention Program - STAND UP

A Team of Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants and Dr. Chris Mazzuchin have been providing physiotherapy services for seniors
in apartments and retirement homes for five years now. Dr. Mazzuchin works with his Exercise Therapist Team to deliver in-house programs.
We Teach Seniors how to Stay Safe and Live Safe. Our programs include a group exercise program three times per week, advice on
how to avoid falls in your home and a series of easy exercises to do at home. Our services include a Mobility Assessment to measure pain, flexibility, strength, mobility, transfers, balance, endurance and risk of fall. We also offer an Assistive Device Assessment and individualized Physiotherapy Treatments.
Our services do extend into other value added programs like Tai-Chi, incontinence training and wound care.

WHAT DOES IT COST – IT IS FREE!

All treatments will be provided under OHIP funding with no charges to the residents who are 65 years of age or older.
That means all of our services are free of charge!
